Double Chocolate Mousse


Chocolate Mousse is an absolute favourite chocolate dessert of all time for most of the chocalate lovers out there. This 3 ingredients  double chocolate mousse is so simple to make and can prepare the delicious dessert only in 20 minutes.  So anytime you are craving for a chocolate dessert or looking to make quick dessert at home,  this double chocolate mousse recipe is just what you need. Depending on the way  of making the texture of the mousse can vary from light and airy to thick and creamy. In today's post, I have shared the recipe for slightly thick and creamy chocolate mousse. 


INGREDIENTS 

  1. White chocolate - 100g
  2. Semi sweet dark chocolate - 100g
  3. Whipping cream - 200ml 
  4. Whipping cream - 300ml

INSTRUCTIONS 


  • Chop the dark and white chocolate and transfer the chocalate pieces to a 2 separate bowls.
  • In a saucepan in a medium heat, add the 200 ml of whipping cream. 
  • Let it come to a simmer.

  • Then pour the hot whipping cream to the chopped chocolates. 

  • Wait for 5 minutes to melt the chocalates.
  • Then mix with spoon and let them to cool .

  • In a large bowl add 300ml of whipping cream, beat until soft peaks.
  • Divide in halt.

  • Add melted white chocolate (add in portions) to divided whipping cream and beat until medium peaks.  

  • Do the same process for dark chocolate as you did for the white chocolate. 

  • This this the consistency. 

  • In a dessert glass set chocolate mousse as a 1st layer.

  • White chocolate mousse as a 2nd layer.

  • Refrigerate 3 to 4 hours to chill or you can serve them right away.
