Vegetable Nuggets or Veg strips are healthy snack option whenever we want to snack on something. These nuggets are very easy to make and requires very few ingredients. The whole process of making these nuggets take around 35 minutes.
INGREDIENTS
- Boiled & mashed potatoes - 3 cups
- Boiled carrots and green peas - 1/2 cup each
- Chopped onions
- Garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Chili powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
- Oregano - 1 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Green Chilies - 1 tsp chopped
- Egg white
- Bread crumbs
- Oil - to fry
Way To Cook
- Boil the carrots and green peas and set aside.
- Boil the potatoes and mashed.
- Then set aside.
- In pan add oil, garlic paste and green chilies then fry for 1 minute.
- Then add the mashed potatoes and mix well.
- Then add Chili powder, coriander powder, oregano, salt and black pepper.
- Then mix well with the potatoe.
- Now add the Boiled carrots and green peas and mix until well combined.
- Let it cool the mixture.
- Then make medium sized balls.
- Then using your hands make the balls to cylinder shape.
- Then roll the nuggets in the bread crumbs.
- Then also roll in the egg white.
- Again roll in the bread crumbs for the second time.
- Fry the nuggets in deep frying method.
- Fry until golden brown.
- Then serve with any sauce of your choice.
