These spicy an cheesy shrimp cakes are moist and tender inside and the outside. Few simple ingredients and these delicious cakes are come together very quickly. These easy and flavourful shrimp cakes are perfect for a week night meal when served green salad or you can serve them as a smack with your favourite sauce.
INGREDIENTS
- Shrimp - 450g (peeled and deveined)
- Finely chopped onions - 1/4 cup
- Minced garlic - 1 tsp
- Fresh coriander - 2 tbsp
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Black pepper - 1 /4 tsp
- Chili flakes - 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
- All purpose flour - 1/4 cup
- Mozzarella Cheese - 1/4 cup (shredded)
- Egg - 1 medium size
- Vegetable oil - 4 tbsp
Way to cook
- Take shrimp and chopped into fine pieces.
- Then add the chopped shrimp to a large bowl.
- Also add onions, garlic, coriander, salt, pepper, chili flakes, red chilli powder, all purpose flour, mozzarella cheese and egg.
- Then well until incorporated.
- Then in a frying pan in medium high heat add oil to shallow fry.
- Take spoonful of the mixture and add that to the frying pan.
- And spread evenly for a small party shape.
- Cook 3 to 4 minutes each side or until golden brown.
- Then take out from heat and serve with mayonnaise or any sauce.
