Gajuorer Halwa Recipe | Carrot Halwa


INGREDIENTS

  1. Carrot - 1 kg
  2. Milk - 1 litre
  3. Sugar - 1/2 cup
  4. Nuts - 3 tbsp
  5. Ghee - 1/4 cup
  6. Khoya - 1/2 cup
  7. Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp 

INSTRUCTIONS 

  • Peel and clean the carrots and great the carrots using vegetable greater in a large bowl.

    (You can choose small or large holes to great)

  • Keep a pan in medium heat add milk and greated carrot.
  • Mix well until carrots are cooked soft.

  • Close with the lid and cook for 10 minutes in medium heat.
  • Mix in between times.

  • After milk elaborated, add sugar then mix well. 

  • After milk elaborated, add sugar then mix well. 
  • When sugar dissolves it gets watery. After the sugar syrup elaborate add the next ingredients. 

  • Now add ghee and mix well for 5 minutes. 

  • At this stage, add Khoya and cardamom powder mix well until incorporate.

  • Finally add nuts and mix as well.
  • Enjoy with you family.
