Mahalabia Recipe | Malabi Pudding | Milk Pudding | Arabian Dessert
INGREDIENTS
- Milk - 2 cups
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Corn Starch - 1/4 cup
- Heavy cream - 1/2 cup
- Rose water - 1/2 tsp
- Dessicated coconut - 1 tbsp (each cup)
For Rose Syrup
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Lemon juice - 1/2 tsp
- Rose water - 1/2 tsp
- Red Food Colour - 2 to 3 pinch
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a bowl add milk, sugar, cornstarch aand mix well.
- Then add heavy cream, rose water and mix again.
- Keep a saucepan in medium heat, then pour the milk mixture to the saucepan.
- Mix until thick creamy consistency.
- Then transfer the milk pudding to a dessert glasses.
- Let it to cool to room temperature.
- Then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Meanwhile to make rose syrup, Keep a saucepan in medium heat add sugar and water .
- Mix until sugar dissolves.
- When it's start to boiling add lemon juice, rose water and red food colour then mix well.
- Switch off the flame when sugar thickened.
- Take out the milk pudding from the fridge then pour the rose rose syrup on top.
- Garnish with dessicated coconut and chopped Pistachios.
