Potato Omelette


Potato Omelette | Omelette Recipe | Healthy breakfast

 
This recipe is a slightly modified version of Spanish Omelette. Spanish omelette is one of my favourite omelette, this is why I have changed this recipe to match our desi taste. It is really easy to make and takes around 15 to 20 minutes. Hope you like the recipe.


INGREDIENTS

  1. Potatoes - 2 medium size
  2. Oil - 2 tbsp
  3. Red chili powder - 1/4 tsp
  4. Cumin powder - 1/4 tsp
  5. Black pepper powder  - 1/4 tsp
  6. Sliced onions - 1 medium size
  7. Egg - 3 large size
  8. Green chilies - 2 medium size
  9. Fresh coriander - 1 tbsp


INSTRUCTIONS

  • Remove the skin of the potatoes and cut thin slices like shown below. 

  • In a pan add oil in medium high heat then add potatoes,  Chilli powder, cumin powder, pepper powder and fry for few seconds. 

  • Then add onions and Saute.

  • In a bowl add eggs , green chilies and coriander leaves beat well. 

  • When potatoes are cooked and boiled well. (Turned into brown colour)

  • Take out the potatoes from the pan and add to the egg mixture. 

  • Mix well. 

  • In a frying pan add oil and pour the egg mixture in medium low flame. 

  • Flip and cook for another 3 minutes. 

  • When omelette is done cooking take out from the pan.

  • Cut and serve.
