Potato Omelette | Omelette Recipe | Healthy breakfast
This recipe is a slightly modified version of Spanish Omelette. Spanish omelette is one of my favourite omelette, this is why I have changed this recipe to match our desi taste. It is really easy to make and takes around 15 to 20 minutes. Hope you like the recipe.
INGREDIENTS
- Potatoes - 2 medium size
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Red chili powder - 1/4 tsp
- Cumin powder - 1/4 tsp
- Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
- Sliced onions - 1 medium size
- Egg - 3 large size
- Green chilies - 2 medium size
- Fresh coriander - 1 tbsp
INSTRUCTIONS
- Remove the skin of the potatoes and cut thin slices like shown below.
- In a pan add oil in medium high heat then add potatoes, Chilli powder, cumin powder, pepper powder and fry for few seconds.
- Then add onions and Saute.
- In a bowl add eggs , green chilies and coriander leaves beat well.
- When potatoes are cooked and boiled well. (Turned into brown colour)
- Take out the potatoes from the pan and add to the egg mixture.
- Mix well.
- In a frying pan add oil and pour the egg mixture in medium low flame.
- Flip and cook for another 3 minutes.
- When omelette is done cooking take out from the pan.
- Cut and serve.
