Potato Soufflė for Breakfast


Soufflé is a baked egg based dish often served as a savoury main dish of sweetened as a dessert. Soufflés can be very intimidating to make but the truth is, it is actually pretty easy to make. If you follow this recipe carefully you will make perfect soufflés ecet time. These cheesy potato soufflé are absolutely delicious and delightfully fluffy! It takes a little time to prepare these soufflés, but we'll worth it. 


INGREDIENTS 

  1. Softened butter 
  2. Breadcrumbs - for dusting 
  3. Boiled potatoes - 3 medium size 
  4. Mixed cheddar - 1/2 cup 
  5. Parmesan cheese - 1/4 cup 
  6. Salt - 1/4 tsp 
  7. Black pepper - 1/4 tsp 
  8. Garlic powder - 1/2 tsp 
  9. Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp 
  10. Melted butter - 2 tbsp 
  11. Fresh coriander - 2 tbsp 
  12. Milk - 1/3 room temperature 
  13. Egg yolks - 2 large size
  14. Egg whites - 2 large size 


INSTRUCTIONS 


  • In 9cm heat proof cups add softened butter.

  • Then dust the cups with breadcrumbs. 

  • In a large bowl add potatoes then smash using any smasher. 

  • Then add mixed cheddar, parmesan cheese , salt, pepper, garlic powder, red chilli powder, melted butter, fresh coriander milk and egg yolks. 

  • The Mix until well combined. 

  • In a separate bowl add egg whites and beat until medium peaks. 

  • Add the beaten egg whites to the prepared mixture.
  • Then gently foul and mix the egg white. 

  • Now add the mixture to the prepared cups.

  • Then clean the excess breadcrumbs  using your finger or kitchen tissue. 

  • Arrange the cups on a baking tray.

  • Then bake 20 minutes on 220* C or 425*F preheated oven. 

  • Enjoy your potato soufflé for breakfast.
