Sweet Chilli Sauce





INGREDIENTS 

  1. Sugar - 1/3 cup 
  2. Salt - 1/4 tsp 
  3. Chili flakes - 1 tbsp 
  4. Chopped Garlic - 1 tbsp 
  5. Chopped Ginger - 1 tsp
  6. Water - 1/3 cup 
  7. White vinegar - 1/3 cup 
  8. Ketchup - 1 tbsp 
  9. Cornstarch - 1 tbsp 
  10. Water - 2 tbsp 

INSTRUCTIONS 


  • In a saucepan add sugar, salt, chili flakes, ginger, garlic.

  • Then add water, vinegar, ketchup (ketchup is optional if u add ketchup it gives red sauce colour.)

  • Switch on the flame on medium high heat qmd stir the ingredients. 

  • Meanwhile it's boiling, in a small bowl add cornstarch and water (2 tbsp) and mix without lumps. 

  • Then the sauce is simmering add the cornstarch water while stirring. 

  • Mix constantly for 2 minutes. 
  • When it's reach saucy consistency switch off the flame and let it to cool. 
  • U can preserve this sauce for 4 months on normal freezer.
