Caramel Tart



Caramel Tart |Tart recipe |Homemade Caramel Tart|Tart|Bengali Dessert Recipe 


IINGREDIENTS 

  1. Digestive biscuits - 8 to 10 pieces 
  2. Melted butter - 1/4 cup 
  3. Sugar - 1 cup
  4. Water - 1/2 cup
  5. Butter - 1/3 cup or 5 tbsp
  6. Heavy cream - 1/2 cup 

INSTRUCTION

  • Add the digestive biscuits to a zip lock bag and  crush into powder using a rolling pin. 
  • Then add this powder to a plate and add melted butter then mix until crumbs.

  • Take a tart pan apply some butter and add biscuit crumbs and gradually press down.

  • Bake this tart 8 to 10 minutes 180*C on preheated oven. 

  • Meanwhile in a saucepan add sugar and water.
  • Do not use a spoon to mix. 
  • Just shake with handle to mix.

  • After few minutes you can see caramelising on  corner ssides. 

  • When it's change in colour to brown add heavy cream.

  • Now use a spoon to mix.

  • When is turn to thick caramel add butter and mix to melt.

  • When it's thick switch off the flame. 

  • Pour the caramel to the baked biscuits base.

  • Let it cool. 
  • And refrigerate this for until set.

  • Take a butter knife to loosen the sides and take it out.

  • Cut into pieces and serve.
