IINGREDIENTS
- Digestive biscuits - 8 to 10 pieces
- Melted butter - 1/4 cup
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Butter - 1/3 cup or 5 tbsp
- Heavy cream - 1/2 cup
INSTRUCTION
- Add the digestive biscuits to a zip lock bag and crush into powder using a rolling pin.
- Then add this powder to a plate and add melted butter then mix until crumbs.
- Take a tart pan apply some butter and add biscuit crumbs and gradually press down.
- Bake this tart 8 to 10 minutes 180*C on preheated oven.
- Meanwhile in a saucepan add sugar and water.
- Do not use a spoon to mix.
- Just shake with handle to mix.
- After few minutes you can see caramelising on corner ssides.
- When it's change in colour to brown add heavy cream.
- Now use a spoon to mix.
- When is turn to thick caramel add butter and mix to melt.
- When it's thick switch off the flame.
- Pour the caramel to the baked biscuits base.
- Let it cool.
- And refrigerate this for until set.
- Take a butter knife to loosen the sides and take it out.
- Cut into pieces and serve.
