The caramelised crispy exterior, the soft and custardy insides, the icing sugar and all sorts of mix and match topping. Everything about french toast is yummy and exciting and I love every bit of it.
Honestly, I am sure I'm not the only one that feels that way. French toast is a very familiar weekend breakfast in many households. It is not just a popular breakfast but it is the easiest for for your sugar craving as well.
If you are a working mom, you must not have all the time during the week. However, the weekend calls for something special but not too difficult as your already tired from the whole week.
It is easy to fix in a minimal amount of time. You do not have to be a chef exactly to set up this fancy treat. You just need a couple of ingredients, I'm sure are lurking in your refrigerator pantry. Our ultimate recipe is the very easy and most delicious one, so grab on your aprons and let's get started for the french toast you will need the following list of ingredients.
INGREDIENTS
- Eggs - 2 large size
- Brown sugar - 2 tbsp
- Milk - 1/4 cup
- Heavy cream - 1/4 cup
- Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
- Cinnamon powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - 1 pinch
- Thick sliced white bread - 5 to 6 slices
- Butter - 2 tbsp (each batch)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Crack the eggs.
- Mix egg and brown sugar
- Then add milk, heavy cream, salt, vanilla essence, cinnamon powder and mix well.
- In medium flame keep a pan and add butter let that to melt.
- Take white bread dip in the the prepared mixture both sides.
- And toast 2 to 3 minutes each side.
- Flip and toast for another 3 minutes.
- Garnish with cube of butter and honey.
