Rice Pudding

I'm persuaded that there are two sorts of individuals in this world; the individuals who never had great ruce pudding and the individual who can in a split second be shipped back to a family kitchen table when they eat it! I'm unquestionably in the subsequent classifications!


Nothing feels more like home to me than a bowl of this delectably pastry. I experienced childhood with it! Rich, velvety rice pudding is scrumptious warm or cold and delicately spiced with simply a trace of cinnamon. It is the coziest, most amelioration sweet of all! We love it with stout brilliant raisins!


It's so natural to make hand - crafted rice pudding and it is an extraordinary method of spending extra rice!


This antiquated treat is an example that is definitive in smooth solace bowl. Serve it warm and it's ideal for cold winter evening or then again chill it in the refrigerator for an awesome warm climate treat.


INGREDIENTS 


  1. Milk - 3 cups 
  2. Sugar - 1/2 cup 
  3. Short Grain Rice- 1/2 cup 
  4. Heavy cream - 1/2 cup 
  5. Butter - 2 tbsp
  6. Cinnamon powder - 1/2 tsp
  7. Vanilla essence - 1 tsp 
  8. Raisins - 1/4 cup


INSTRUCTIONS 


  • In a medium heat keep a saucepan and add milk and sugar then bring it to simmer.


  • Mix well sugar dissolves. 

  • Then add short grain rice and cook for 20 minutes until the rice is tender. 

  • Stir occasionally. 
  • Then add heavy cream and mix well. 

  • Now add butter, cinnamon powder, vanilla essence, raisins and cook for 2 more minutes. 

  • Remove from the heat while it's still saucy.


  • Serve it warm or let it cool to room temperature then refrigerate 2 to 3 hours before serving. 

  • For garnishing dust with cinnamon powder.
