Restaurant Style Chilli Potatoes


Chilie Potatoes Recipe | Indo Chinese Starter | Appetizer Recipe | Snack Recipe


ININGREDIENTS 


  1. Potatoes - 2 big size
  2. Cornflour - 3 tbsp 
  3. Salt - to taste 
  4. Oil - 1/2 tbsp 
  5. Oil - For deep fry 

For Sauce

  1. Oil - 2 tbsp 
  2. Crushed garlic - 1 tbsp 
  3. Crushed ginger - 1 tbsp 
  4. Red capsicum - 2 tbsp 
  5. Green capsicum - 2 tbsp 
  6. Onion - 2 tbsp
  7. Dark soy sauce - 1 tbsp 
  8. Chili sauce - 1 tbsp 
  9. White vinegar - 1/2 tbsp 
  10. Tomato ketchup - 3 tbsp 
  11. Honey - 1 tbsp 
  12. Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp 
  13. Red chilli flakes - 1/2 tsp 
  14. Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp 
  15. Salt - to taste
  16. Corn flour water mix - 2 tbsp Cornflour + water 5 tbsp


INSTRUCTIONS 

  • Cut the potatoes like picture shown below. 👇 then soak in the water for few minutes. 

  • Strain the water and keep cut potatoes on a kitchen town to wipe tge excess water.

  • In a bowl add potatoes, corn flour, salt, oil and mix well. 

  • Then in a frying pan add oil and deep fry 3 minutes in high heat.

  • Then take out from oil.

  • After its come to room temperature fry again in medium low heat for 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown. 
  • Frying for 2 times gives crispy and crunchy bite.
  • Then take out from oil and set aside. 

  • Then in a pan  add oil crushed ginger and garlic fry for 1 minute. 

  • Then add capsicums, onions and sauté for 1 minute in high heat. 

  • Now add dark soy sauce, chili sauce , white vinegar, tomato ketchup, honey and mix well.
  • Then add Chili powder, chili flake. 

  • Also add salt and black pepper powder. Mix well. 

  • Now add corn flour water to the sauce and mix well for 2 minutes. 

  • Low the flame and mix until thick sauce. 

  • Now add fried potatoes and mix well with the sauce.

  • Then start your plating. 
  • Finally y add roasted sesame seeds and spring onions on top.
