Light and Fluffy Yogurt Soufflé Cake


Yogurt Soufflé Cake is perfect for every occasion. In fact, with this yummiest light, fluffy and soft cake every become even well. The light and fluffy yogurt souffle cake is an everyday cake. The light and fluffy souffle cake exceptional to eat it everyday, but you can also have it with fresh whipped cream, fruits or jam. If you love the lemony flavour or want to make it fancier, pour lemon glaze on the cake when the souffle cake is cooled.

INGREDIENTS 

  1. Eggs - 4 large size 
  2. Sugar - 1/2 cup 
  3. Greek yogurt - 1 cup 
  4. Vanilla essence - 1 tsp 
  5. Lemon juice - 1 tsp 
  6. Milk - 1/2 cup 
  7. All purpose flour - 4 tbsp 
  8. Cornstarch - 2 tbsp 

INSTRUCTIONS 


  • Separate the egg yolks from the whites.

  • Add sugar to the egg yolks and beat until creamy. 

  • Then add greek yogurt , vanilla essence, lemon juice and mix well. 

  • Now add milk then mix again. 

  • Sieve and add flour, cornstarch mix without lumps.

  • Take the egg whites in a separate bowl and beat with electric beater until soft peaks form


  • Add the egg whites in 2 portions. 
  • Carefully fold and mix the egg whites.
  •  DO NOT OVER MIX.

  • Prepare the 8 inch spring form pan lined with parchent paper.
  •  Pour the batter to the pan and tap 2 -3 times on table.

  • Cover the pan with 2 layer of foil paper.

  • Keep it on a baking tray add pour hot water. 

  • Bake 40-45 minutes on 170*C or 340*F preheated oven.
  •  Once fully baked, turn off the heat and leave the cake inside the oven for 30 minutes leaving the oven door sightly open.


  • Then let it cool to room temperature.
  • Refrigerate 1 hour to chill.
  • Remove from the pan and parchment paper. 

  • Finally dust with some icing sugar. 

  • Slice into pieces and enjoy your luxury.
