Potato Cutlet

Potato Cutlets are very popular and delicious snack normally served as a side dish or by its own at different types of traditional and festival occasions. In this post, I have shared my own way of making this delicious potato cutlet.



INGREDIENTS

  1. Boiled potatoes - 3 medium size
  2. Fried onions - 1 chopped
  3. Green chilies - 2 tbsp
  4. Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
  5. Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
  6. Chaat masala - 1/2 tsp
  7. Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
  8. Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  9. Salt - to taste
  10. Bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
  11. Egg -1
  12. Oil - to deep fry


INSTRUCTIONS


  • Mash the potatoes well.

  • Mix fried onions and salt together.

  • Then add green chilies, cumin powder, garam masala, Chaat masala, pepper powder and mix well.

  • Then mix with mash potatoes

  • Also add coriander leaves and mix well. 

  • Break the egg to a bowl and add pepper powder, salt then beat well. Set aside. 

  • Make medium size balls in potatoes. (Any shape you want)

  • Dip in the egg.

  • Then coat in the bread crumbs  

  • Now add oil to a frying pan then fry the balls until golden brown colour.
