Potato Cutlet |Aloor Chop | Alur Chopped Sanck| Evening Snack
Potato Cutlets are very popular and delicious snack normally served as a side dish or by its own at different types of traditional and festival occasions. In this post, I have shared my own way of making this delicious potato cutlet.
INGREDIENTS
INSTRUCTIONS
- Boiled potatoes - 3 medium size
- Fried onions - 1 chopped
- Green chilies - 2 tbsp
- Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
- Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
- Chaat masala - 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
- Egg -1
- Oil - to deep fry
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mash the potatoes well.
- Mix fried onions and salt together.
- Then add green chilies, cumin powder, garam masala, Chaat masala, pepper powder and mix well.
- Then mix with mash potatoes
- Also add coriander leaves and mix well.
- Break the egg to a bowl and add pepper powder, salt then beat well. Set aside.
- Make medium size balls in potatoes. (Any shape you want)
- Dip in the egg.
- Then coat in the bread crumbs
- Now add oil to a frying pan then fry the balls until golden brown colour.
