Creamy Tomato Soup | Delicious Tomato Soup


Most frequently, tomato soup could be an exceptionally smooth and lean-to gently thick texture soup. It can be made thicker with the expansion of the drain which is very common. Be that as it may, the commercial adaptation of the soup is customarily made without bits of tomato and is delivered more like a pureed form of a tomato flavoured soup which is to some degree light inconsistency, especially when made with water rather than a drain.



INGREDIENTS


  1. Olive oil - 2 tbsp
  2. Butter - 2 tbsp
  3. Chopped Onions - 1 medium size
  4. Garlic - 3 cloves (thinly sliced)
  5. Canned crushed tomatoes - 5 cups
  6. Vegetable stock - 2 cups
  7. Salt - 1/2 tsp
  8. Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  9. Chill flakes - 1/2 tsp
  10. Sugar - 1 tbsp
  11. Basil - 6 to 7 leaves
  12. Heavy cream - 1/2 cup


INSTRUCTIONS


  • Keep  a pan in medium heat add olive oil, butter, onions sauté for about 5 to 6 minutes. 

  • Then add garlic sauté. 

  • Now add Canned crushed tomatoes and cook well.

  • Also add vegetable stock.

  • Now add salt, black pepper, Chilli flakes, sugar, basil leaves mix well and bring it to a boil. 


  • Partially cover and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat.

  • Remove the basil leaves.
  • Blend until smooth using a hand blender.

  • Now add heavy cream mix well. 

  • Transfer the tomato soup to a soup bowl and garnish with black pepper, basil leaves and with cream.
