INGREDIENTS
- Mozzarella cheese
- Thin slices of bread
- Chopped canned fish tempered with onions and
- pepper
- Fine breadcrumbs 3/4 cup butter
METHOD
- Using a suitable knife, cut mozzarella into slices. Beat the egg in a bowl.
- Add the milk whisking until combined. Using a fork, turn and soak the bread slices in the egg - milk mixture.
- Place slices of mozzarella on a slice of bread, sprinkle on the tempered canned fish.
- Lay the remaining slices of bread on top, pressing firmly together.
- Pour the fine breadcrumbs onto a plate and coat the sandwich in them.
- Heat the butter in a frying pan and put in the sandwiches.
- Shallow fry the sandwiches on both sides until golden brown, turning as necessary.
- Serve with ketchup.
