Churros


 This churros recipe is surprisingly very easy and make a great churros which is Chrisp hot on the outside soft on the inside. The thick and creamy chocolate dipping sauce is compulsory. This can be done in nearly 30 minutes. Now a days especially in this lockdown this churros become one of the trending snacks. This snack come from Spain. Spanish people eat for their breakfast.

INGREDIENTS 

  • Flour - 120g
  • Water - 200 ml 
  • Egg - 2 large
  • Butter - 50 g (3 tbsp)
  • Sugar -  30 g (2 tbsp)
  • Pinch of salt 
  • Vanilla extract - 1tsp

For chocolate sauce 

  • Dark or milk chocolate - 3/4 cup
  • Full fat milk

For coating 

  • Sugar & cinnamon powder  

METHOD 

  1. Cinnamon , sugar coating : powder the sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
2. Dough : pour the water to a saucepan and add the butter and little bit of sugar. 



3.  Then wait till water boils. Butter should melt completely. 



4. Now add the flour then mix in low flame.  👇


5. Mix till it becomes a dough. Then transfer to a another bowl. 👇




6. Transfer the dough to a bowl and spread the dough to cool down completely.  👇



7. After its completely cooled add egg and vanilla extract.  👇



Or else you can also do , beat 2 eggs add the beaten egg to the dough little by little.  Do not add the egg at once. Because if you add the eggs at once the might be become watery which is not suitable for churros. 



8. We need piping bags and nozzle. I'm using 2D nozzle. Fill the little amount of dough to the piping bag. 👇



9.  Keep a frying pan in the medium heat add oil for deep frying.  👇



10. Pipe the dough into the oil. Snipping with kitchen scissors. (Snip close to the oil surface to avoid splash.) 



11.  Do 6 to 7 per batch .

12. Cook one side for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden and crisp, rolling occasionally. 



13. Remove the churros from the oil then keep that in paper towel to drain the excess oil.

14. Then roll in sugar and cinnamon powder. (This step is optional)



To chocolate sauce

1. Place a pan and add milk to heat up.


2. Then add the chocalate and eat for chocolate melts.


3. Use a spoon to mix the chocalate which will reduce the timing of melting.

4. After its thickened switch off the stove. And serve the churros with hot chocolate dipping.



It will taste better when churros serves hot. Now you can serve this tasty churros with your family and enjoy.
