Instant Crispy Jalebi



In this post we are going to make Diwali Special Sweet series number 03. The sweet we are going to make today is Instant Crisy Jalebi. Jalebi / Jelabi / Jalepi is very popular sweet in South Asian countries. There are many different ways of making Jalebies but  in this post, I have shared the easiest and instant Jalebi recipe. 


Friends please do try this Instant Crispy Jalebi recipe at home and this sweet delight will be great on any celebration and will taste absolutely amazing. Also please do share your feedback about the recipe in the comment below. 



INGREDIENTS 


  • Maida (All purpose flour) - 1 cup
  • Water - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 2 cups 
  • Salt - 1/3 tsp
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • Food colour - pinch
  • Baking powder - 1/2 tsp 
  • Thick yougurt or curd - 3 tbsp 


Method


1. In a bowl add flour, salt, baking powder mix add water little by little. 



2.  In this stage add curd or yougurt and beat with a whisk.  Whisk without lumps. 



3. The consistency should be pouring and thick liquid. 



4. I'm using a kitchup bottle to pour the batter to the oil. You can also use piping bag or ziplock bag .



5Meanwhile we start to make sugar syrup, Keep a pan in medium flame and add sugar, water and cardamom. 

6. Let that to simmer. 

7. After sugar dissolves switch off the flame. And the sugar syrup's consistency should be one string. As picture shown below. 👇  



8. After switch off the flame add food colour and lemon juice and mix. 

(Adding lemon juice because to avoid the  crystallising)



9. In a frying pan add oil for fry the Jalebies. 

10. Just slowly pout the batter in rotating motion to 4 - 5 times for 1 Jalebi. 

11. Fry both the sides until golden brown colour. 



12. After frying the Jalebies drop the crispy Jalebies straight away to the sugar syrup. 

13. Soak the instant crispy Jalebies for 5 minutes and take out.
 


Now our instant crispy Jalebies ready to suprise you by its taste.
