Almond Burfi / Badam Burfi



In this post we are going to make Almond Burfi with easy steps. Almond / Badam Burfi is one of the very popular sweet. It is a very delicious and rich dessert sweet. Almond or Badam Burfi is definitely suprise you by its amazing taste.

INGREDIENTS 

  1. Almond - 1/2 cup 
  2. Milk - 1/2 cup 
  3. Ghee - 2 tbsp 
  4. Sugar - 1/2 cup 
  5. Cardamom powder - 1 /4 tsp 
  6. Ghee - 1/2 tbsp  (again)
  7. Chopped almonds - 2 tbsp


Instructions

  • Take the 1/2 cup almonds and soak it into the water then peel the skin of almonds. 


  • In a blender jar add almonds/ Badam, milk and blend until smooth.


  • Keep a pan in medium low heat add ghee tbsp and grind almond paste, sugar and mix until well combined. 


  • At this stage add cardamom powder and mix again.


  • After 2 minutes add ghee as well.


  • When the mixture comes non sticky and incorporate into one dough. add chopped almonds and mix.


  • Add chopped almonds and mix. (Adding chopped almonds is completely optional.)



  • Grease the pan with ghee or butter. 

  • Add the prepared Almond or Badam Burfi to the greased pan and shape to a neat up side.


  • I'm adding some more chopped almonds top of the Burfi to garnish. 
(Since the name of the sweet is almond or Badam Burfi I'm adding too much of almonds, but you can adjust or skip the almonds as pper your wish.)



  • Let the sweet to cool and then cut into pieces.
