Chai Latte | Masala Tea is the modified form of masala Chai that originated from the Indian Subcontinent. Masala Tea | Chai Latte | Masala Chai is a spice flavoured beverage cooked with spices and brewing black tea. This delicious beverage has worldwide popularity and many coffee and tea houses proudly feature it in their menus.
TThis masala tea | Chai Latte | Masala Chai is a healthy drink for every season. You can have it as evening tea or whenever you want to boost your metabolism , so it is a healthy substitute for a coffee as some people are not found of having coffee.
INGREDIENTS
- Water - 2 cups
- Whole black pepper - 10 to 12
- Cardamom - 5 pieces
- Cloves - 5 to 6 pieces
- Cinnamon - 1 stick
- Ginger - 1 inch
- Brown sugar - 2 tbsp
- Black tea bags - 2
- Whole milk - 2 cups
- Cinnamon powder - 1 pinch
- In a saucepan add water and let it come to simmer.
- Meanwhile in a motor pastal add pepper, cardamom just crush and set aside.
- Then add cinnamon stick pound and crush and set aside.
- Then add ginger and just pound.
- In the simmering water add all the crush and pound spices and ginger.
- Let it boil to 8 to 10 minutes.
- Now add brown sugar boil 2 to 3 minutes.
- At this time add the tea bags and boil for another 2 minutes.
- Pour the masala black tea into 2 mugs. (Filter the black tea.)
- In another saucepan add whole milk.
- Once it's start to boil turn off the heat.
- Using a hand blender blend the milk until milk is frothy.
- Them pour the milk to the black tea mug.
- Then add some cinnamon powder on top.
