Egg Devilled Masala



Eggs are among the healthiest foods you can eat. Eggs are good source of Protein. Eating protein rich foods help us to maintain and build strong muscles. Eggs are a low carb food, providing less than 1 gram of carbohydrate in one large egg. They have a tiny amount of sugar and no fiber. In addition to the health benefits provided by eggs. Micronutrients, the protein and fat in eggs are beneficial as well. Eggs have 15 percentage of good cholesterol which is essential to our body.



 
INGREDIENTS 


  • Boiled Eggs - 4
  • Chopped Onions - 2 medium sized 
  • Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
  • Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Curry Powder - 1 tsp
  • Green Chilies - 3 slit (optional)
  • Curry Leaves - Chopped 
  • Pentan Leaf  - 1 inch (only for good smell. If you don't have it you can skip this ingredient)
  •  Turmarind water - 1 tbsp (we are using turmarind water only for tangy taste. You can also use lemon juice instead of turmeric water.)
  • Ginger & Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
  • Cinnamon stick - 1 inch
  • Cloves - 4
  • Cardamom - 3
  • Oil 
  • Water


Instructions 

  1. Boil the eggs. (Do not boil the egg to much take it out after 10- 12 minutes) 
  2. Then remove the shells.
  3. Cut the eggs into half .
  4. We have to make a fresh masala powder for that  take cinnamon stick,  cardamom and cloves pound these ingredients into powder. 


Method for frying the Eggs

  1.  In a tawa of frying pan add oil. 
  2. After oil gets heat add Chili powder, pepper powder, salt in ththe frying pan and give a mix everything together. 
  3. Simmer the flame and carefully place the egg and fry one side for about 1 minute and flip it over then wait for another 1 minute. 
  4. After roasting the eggs take it out.




Preparing the Egg Devilled Masala 


  1. In the same pan add some oil and add chopped curry leaves. 
  2. After few seconds add the ginger and garlic paste and sauté. 
  3. After it is turned goldenbrown colour add green chilies and turmeric water or lemon juice and sprinkle some water.
  4. When it's started to boil add Chili powder or chilli flakes, turmeric powder, curry powder,  freshly pound powder and salt.
  5. Mix everything together slslow the flame and close it with the lid cook for 1 minute. 
  6. After 1 minute open the lid aand mix then set aside this mixture in the same pan.
  7. Now add the fried eggs and put the prepared mixture top of the eggs .
  8. Switch off the flame keep that aside. 
  9. If you want to garnish the dish you can add chopped coriander leaves on top.
  10. When you going to eeat then open the lid and serve.
