In this post we are going to make perfectly Roasted Potatoes with and without oven. Roasted potatoes are basically well cooked / baked inside. Roasted potatoes are normally served as side dish and you can serve them with butter. And also you can serve as a starter. This perfectly roasted potatoes are crunchy outside and creamy inside.

INGREDIENTS
- Potatoes - 1 kg (medium size)
- Garlic - 3 cloves (chopped)
- Rosemary - 1 tbsp (chopped)
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp (optional)
- Olive oil - 4 tbsp
- Chopped coriander leaves - to garnish
Instructions To Make Roasted Potatoes
1. Cut th potatoes into halves.
2. Keep water in a saucepan and let that to simmer. Then add salt and potatoes.
3. Give it a mix and boil the potatoes for 10 minutes.
4. Take out the potatoes from the water.
5. In a pan or wok on medium flame, add olive oil, garlic and rosemary fry them until slightly brown.
6. Strain the oil into the boiled potatoes. Like the picture shown below. 👇
7. To the potatoes add salt, pepper powder, chilli powder and mix or toss until well combined.
8. Shake to rough up the edges of the potatoes, rough up the edges will create an extra crunchy outer layer.
9. Take make this roasted potatoes in oven, take a baking tray line with parchment paper.
10. Line the prepared potatoes on the baking tray and bake at 200 degree Celsius for 60 minutes.
11. Flip the potatoes after 30 minutes.
12. To make Roasted Potatoes without oven. Keep a pan on medium heat add same infused oil.
(That we made earlier to toss the potatoes. Add that oil to the pan.)
13. Add the potatoes fry them for 15 to 20 minutes until crispy .
14. Flip every 5 minutes and cook.
15. Finally add chopped coriander leaves to garnish and few shakes to mix them up.
