INGREDIENTS
- Boneless chicken - 500g
- Oil - 3 tbsp
- Dried red chilli - 2 small size
- Chopped Onions - 1 cup
- Ginger & Garlic paste - 2 tsp
- Green Chilies - 2 medium size
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Cumin powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala - 1 tsp
- Water - 1/4 cup
- Tomatoes - 2 small size
- Thick coconut milk - 1 cup
- Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
INSTRUCTIONS
- Keep a pan in medium high heat and add oil, dried chilies and onions. Sauté until translucent.
- Then add ginger and garlic paste (alternatively you can use grated garlic & ginger) and green chilies sauté for few seconds.
- Now add all the spices powders: salt , black pepper powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala.
- Give them a quick stir.
- Now add water and cook for 2-3 minutes until oil separates.
- Add the chicken and mix well with the curry.
- And also add tomatoes. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
- Open the lid and mix then add the coconut milk. Cook for 10 more minutes.
- Add some coriander leaves on top.
- Then take off from the heat.
