Cupcake is a small version of a normal cake prepared to serve individuals. Simple and easy Vanilla cupcakes all time favourite among them all. In this post, I have shared and easy moist and fluffy Vanilla cupcakes recipe and you can always decorate them with the swril of delicious buttercream frosting.
INGREDIENTS
- Flour - 1.5 cups
- Baking powder - 1 tsp
- Baking soda -1/2 tsp
- Butter - 1/2 cup
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Vanilla essence - 2 tsp
- Eggs - 2 large size
- Milk - 3/4 cup
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a mixing bowl add flour, baking powder, baking soda and mix them properly.
- In another bowl add butter, sugar and start to mix with an electric beater.
(You can also use a hand whisk but it will be very difficult. Bu the way, the butter as to be at room temperature.)
- After the mixture becomes creamy now I am add vanilla essence and mixing again.
- Then add eggs to the mixture. Add one at a time then beat then add 2nd egg and beat again.
- I have mixed 2 eggs properly , now I'm adding half of the milk.
- Now also add half of shifted flour mix.
- Beat the mixture on medium low speed properly.
- Scrape the sides and add to the bowl then beat.
- Now again add the rest of the milk and flour.
- Again beat the mixture on medium low speed.
- The batter for the cupcakes is ready and this batter will make around 12 cupcakes.
- Place cupcake liner to the cupcake mould.
- Now fill the 2/3 of the liner with the batter.
(If you take more it will over flow.)
- Bake the cupcakes 20 to 25 minutes at 180*C.
- After 2 minutes check the cupcakes with a toothpick. If the toothpick comes clean , it means the cupcakes are done.
- Now place these cupcakes on a cooling rack to cool.
- Now add frosting on top of the cupcakes.
- With or without frosting this cupcakes taste heaven.
