Shemai Barfi


Shemai Barfi | Vermicelli Barfi| Shemai Crispy Barfi| Vermicelli Sweet


INGREDIENTS 

  1. Vermicelli - 200g
  2. Ghee - 4 tbsp 
  3. Desiccated coconut -1/2 cup
  4. Chopped Cashews - 2 to 3 tbsp
  5. Condensed milk - 3/4 cup 
  6. Finely chopped Pistachios - 8 to 10 pieces 

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Break vermicelli into small pieces.
                    

  • Keep a non stick pan on medium heat and add ghee then add vermicelli then roast 4 to 5 minutes .

                         


  • Then turn the flame to medium low heat and add dessicated coconut and chopped cashews.
  • Roast 2 more minutes.

                      


  • Then add condensed milk. 
  • Mix well.

  •                  

  • Cook until soft and thick consistency. 


  • Greased a pot with oil or ghee.
  • Add the Barfi mix to the pot.

  • Spread evenly. 
  • Let it cool for 30 minutes. 

  • Now cut it into square pieces. 

  • Finally garnish with chopped Pistachios.
